June 3 - Gathering on the Green

Gathering on the Green is a free, fun day of activities and entertainment held every year on the first Saturday in June, rain or shine.

CELEBRATING 35 YEARS!


The Old South Community Organization will be hosting The Gathering on the Green on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

The day gets underway at 10:00 a.m. and runs till 5:00 p.m. with live entertainment, kids activities, including mini-golf, face painting, games, a dunk tank, OSCO's nearly famous all-day BBQ, and Charlotte's Tea Garden. You'll also find plant and craft vendors and community displays.

Village Ride to Gathering on the Green

Join the ride anywhere along the route at 10:00 a.m. Starts at Commissioners & Wortley, continues north on Wortley Road and ends at Gathering on the Green~Wortley Village. All ages, abilities and bicycles. Free Valet Bike Parking at the Gathering all day! About Gathering on the Green

Gathering on the Green has been running for 34 years thanks to dedicated volunteers and the support of OSCO and local businesses.

Over the years, Gathering on the Green has donated $100,000 to projects and organizations in Old South, including OSCO's "Back to Normal" Task Force to protect the Normal School Building and Village Green, as well as playground equipment and greening projects at local schools, community meal programs at area churches, St. John Ambulance, and programs at the Boys and Girls Club of London.
